This will be a hot sunday afternoon in Groningen as the "Farmers" will host Ajax @ 14:30 local time. There has always been a tensioned atmosphere with these two clubs, but is has fired up lately as Ajax bought Groningen's most important and influencial players Bruno Silva, Rasmus Lindgren and earlier, Luis Suarez. Groningen have only mediocre Sepp de Roover and 2nd League-level Danny Holla in return so they're lacking quality at the moment to compete with top5 teams.

Ajax on the other hand is doing quitte well lately, scoring goals for fun on the hand of Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who is still in the race to become European top-scorer.

I expect a well motivated and fighting Groningen in this match (which they lacked last match against Nac Breda and coach Ron Jans was really pissed off about) but they also have in mind they will end 7th in competition which means Groningen will enter the play-offs to compete for a Uefa-cup ticket, and will do anything to avoid anymore injuries or suspensions. The quality of Ajax will give the edge in this match I suppose, but it won't be that easy.
